Sacrament or Communion.

What is Communion? Or partaking of Sacrament? Taught by Prophet Duncan Mghendi

Why is it the most stern of new testament memorial of Jesus Christ?

1 Corinthians 10:16 "The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?"

For the cup of drink is His blood, and the Bread we break is His body. Therefore in all honor and fear of God's Power, the Sacrament or Communion is held in highest respect and taken in a most solemn manner and with great cautiousness.

1 Corinthians 11:26 "For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come."

This verse above shows openly the Reason of this grand memorial feast or part of observing to fulfill the Lord's instruction. The purpose of the Sacrament to alway revive the power of the Holy Sacrifice of the LORD'S BODY AND BLOOD that was shed to give man a way towards Open Heaven, the grace of forgiveness and the merits of eternity as obtained by obedience and faith in Christ Jesus alone.

Now, the next verse gives the solemnity required for the exercise of this partaking of the cup and bread. The HOLY SPIRIT through Paul and as we will see later on warned on ways of partaking the sacrament.

Now read these VERSES Keenly:

1 Corinthians 11:27-30 "Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. {damnation: or, judgment} For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep."

The Solemnity of the Sacrament required full inner examination....

It needed one to carefully think if He is worthy to partake of the LORD'S Body.

If you read above.... You'll note that those who have partaken without examining themselves, partook of the cup and broke the bread in an unworthily manner that led to them drinking Judgments upon their lives, resulting in weakness, sickly people and also deaths of various people.

The power of the sacrament is this: its associate to a Mystery that is contained on the drink of Wine, as the main symbol of the Blood of Forgiveness and also Vengeance to sinners and the bread as both the Word that saves and also the Word that judges. As solemn symbols of the memorial of reliving and announcing the death of the sacrificial Lamb of God, through his blood and flesh as wine and bread, this has to be taken with all sincerity and purity of the motives of the hearts of men.

When one partakes of this in a rather hastily manner without a moment of reflecting all throughout His inner man, his motives, thoughts and desires, he may drink and eat of His Judgment straight away.

When its a family that's to partake or a group of people, like how Jesus and the 12 disciples, did, they all awaited for each other while they all had sat down. The communion if taken by a number of people, it should be taken in a uniformed manner. One shall not precede the other and vice versa. As stated again by Apostle Paul.

1 Corinthian 11:33 "Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another."

And of one can't do with others, He partake of the sacrament alone and it his own convenience.

1 Corinthians 11:34 "And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come."

If you can't contain the urge of taking communion, do it alone. By this, its cautious step to avoid been counted under the condemnation of others.

In grace and also in the law, Bread is the standard. In Jewish circles they partake of bread without yeast. Under grace, its bread. Dependant upon the partakers.

The Rules of Communion:
1. Presents a united body in Christ.

2. Persons apparently in the order of the Church but secretly contaminated with sin should not commune.

3. Self-Examination should Precede before Communion.

4. Those openly contaminated with sin should be excluded from Communion.

5. Only the bread and the cup have divine sanction as part of Communion.

Judas was already contaminated. And that's why when he partook of the Holy Drink and Holy Bread, the devil filled Him and His Judgment was already passes.

Shalom..
