Deuteronomy 12:10-11 "But when ye go over Jordan, and dwell in the land which the LORD your God giveth you to inherit, and when he giveth you rest from all your enemies round about, so that ye dwell in safety; Then there shall be a place which the LORD your God shall choose to cause his name to dwell there; thither shall ye bring all that I command you; your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and the heave offering of your hand, and all your choice vows which ye vow unto the LORD:"

Tithing has become quite a controversial topic and much debated amongst man himself in defiance to its very truth and way it should be done. According to the above scripture we learn about Four things in relation to tithing and tithes...
 (1) Offered In Rest
 (2) From A Place One Has Inherited, Work or place of you resource
 (3) Offered In Place God Has Chosen And Ordained To Be His House
 (4) Its A Command.

The other factor to it is that, you recall what Paul wrote, "God loves a cheerful giver..." same way with tithe too. This is why also in Deuteronomy 12:12 "And ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God, ye, and your sons, and your daughters, and your menservants, and your maidservants, and the Levite that is within your gates; forasmuch as he hath no part nor inheritance with you." God ordains that He that has offered His offerings and tithe shall Rejoice.

Why is it written in Deuteronomy 12:13 "Take heed to thyself that thou offer not thy burnt offerings in every place that thou seest:" that NOT ALL PLACES HAS GOD ALLOWED FOR SUCH GIVING. This is because any form of giving, from Offerings to Tithes, these need be blessed where God Himself Has Ordained His Name And Glory To Be. That is why in 2 Chronicles 7:12-16 "And the LORD appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto him, I have heard thy prayer, and have chosen this place to myself for an house of sacrifice. If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place. For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be there for ever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually."
An ordained Place for first is quite important. Because we do not give to man but to God, if the place one gives too has no God nor is God their God, its vain to give and one cannot see the profit nor gain of giving to God. As a prophet and a man of God, its good I tell you this because there's a way how one has to be prayed for to be blessed for his or her tithes.
2 Chronicles 31:2 And brought in the offerings and the tithes and the dedicated things faithfully:...." in tithing, a tenth of your income or fruits in matters of life and work, these are to be given unto God faithfully. Why so? Because to all things one seeks, God is faithful to reward man whole, but can man be faithful to The Giver of everything and show himself worthy to be given more again? Tithe and offerings is not eaten nor taken of God, rather its an act of Faith in knowing that, He that Gave you first is all knowing and blesses those who sacrifice in return, anything you lack He shall surely provide.
Faithfulness And Tithing Go along as one watching the other.... Hezekiah was mightily blessed as a king same with Abraham in their giving to God, not because of how rich or prominent in their day they were but because of their faithfulness in deed, not in word. Faith with Works is additional as per tithes and offerings to God.
Many people have associated blessings with Vows of Giving this and that but a vow is no mistake neither taken lightly. Many of us in the world, have either vowed openly or secretly that"God if you bless me with this and this, I shall surely do this and this to you", so even pledge their tithes to God in perfect dates of giving or even how they will tithe and also similarly in offerings.
According to Numbers 21:2 "And Israel vowed a vow unto the LORD, and said, If thou wilt indeed deliver this people into my hand, then I will utterly destroy their cities." Is a situation that happens to all of us. We make vows.... I associate vows to tithes and offerings, because it will greatly help you know that God is ever faithful to keep His word, can you keep your word? Numbers 30:2 "2 If a man vow a vow unto the LORD, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth". When we tithe, give offering or make a vow to God Almighty, He watches to see its completion. For example, one may make a vow, that God bless me with a job and i shall do this and this for you..... Now ask yourself, Where does God get the Job you want and gives it to you? Then after one obtaining to it, fails to live up to His or her vow, then Jehovah now becomes Angered at this person and closes all heaven above and beneath thy feet, the earth is as iron to and you wonder why this or that is happening? In Malachi we know the scripture that says "You have robbed me?", which is a bad and an angry statement that Yahweh speaks to those who keep not their end of worship in either Tithe, Offering or Vows. Let me make you know the grave word of tithe, offering or vows as made plain in God's truth. Psalms 50:14-15 "Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High: And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me." Now this is an example of how also an act of Salvation or Deliverance too from Yahweh at times is dependant on ones free will to pay his or her vows faithfully to God. Abraham himself as our example in faith, pays a tithe of all his tenth he gained from a war he was in from to Melchizedek who was the priest of the most High God at that time. This was an act of Great Honor And Thanksgiving to God Almighty. Proverbs 20:25 "It is a snare to the man who devoureth that which is holy, and after vows to make enquiry". Its quite wrong and wicked devouring your own tithe which has to be holy To God and also been like Sapphira in her enquiry after a vow they didn't faithfully keep. A tenth of your profits in your way and work of life are given to God as holy, eating all your tithe which is holy to God is you yourself becoming a devourer to God's own blessing. In short we tend to blame the devil on this whilst its a matter of knowing how to in order to set right thy blessings. Devouring thy own tithe, is devouring thy own blessing. Ecclesiastes 5:4-6 "When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed. Better is it that thou shouldest not vow, than that thou shouldest vow and not pay. Suffer not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin; neither say thou before the angel, that it was an error: wherefore should God be angry at thy voice, and destroy the work of thine hands?" Now all throughout the bible, until in this chapter we realize that "There An Angel", whose work in every God Ordained house of prayer or God's choice is to oversee to bless and bring fruition every vow fulfilled or tithes given. This same Angel can destroy the works of your Hand if you keep not to your vow or to fulfill God's command of tithing or offering. Brethren this is one of the most stern writings in accordance to Giving And seeking of God's blessings. Malachi 1:14 "But cursed be the deceiver, which hath in his flock a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto the Lord a corrupt thing: for I am a great King, saith the LORD of hosts, and my name is dreadful among the heathen,". Make sure you be faithful to your God, the most faithful giveth to God according to what God has given him or her without imperfect balance nor weight. For Example Acts 5:1-11 " But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession, And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles’ feet. But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God. And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things. And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and buried him. And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in. And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much. Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out. Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband. And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things." I would to help you all, that we receive your tithes to bless you and make you prosper in all you do, because we work not for our sake but we work for you, to make sure you become the prosperous man or woman of God you should. But many times, people think they merit us by their tithes while ita practically a priesthood right of God's servant who serves you. Therefore thinking like Ananias And Sapphira that its not well bring the whole lot to God because its man you serve, is disastrous to your walk with God. Therefore, Give to God Faithfully And God Shall Bless You Faithfully, 2 Corinthians 9:6-7 "But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver."

Philippians 4:15 "Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.
